Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar and straight drive is a match made in heaven. During his playing days, the Little Master has enthralled the crowds with textbook straight drives. He walked back in time bringing out a similar shot during a practice session ahead of their game against England Legends in the ongoing Road Safety World Series.

Tendulkar has returned to action which is enough to make cricket fans across the globe happy even for a brief period. The Master Blaster has looked in ominous touch along with his opening partner Virender Sehwag. Ahead of their game against the likes of Kevin Pietersen, Monty Panesar, Sachin Tendulkar was seen taking some throwdowns at the nets.

In one of the videos shared by former India and India Legends cricketer Rohan Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar was seen pulling off a brilliant straight drive. The memories flashed back to the 2000s when it was his routine shot to dispatch the bowlers and thus, entertaining the fans. Rohan shared the video from the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur, captioning it as “If this doesn’t make you happy, nothing will”. The video has taken social media by storm, garnering more than 100000 views and 10000 likes.

Meanwhile, India Legends already had two wins under their belt last year under Sachin Tendulkar’s leadership. The opening pair – Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag have looked in superlative touch so far in the competition. Sehwag remained unbeaten at 80 in 35 balls, while Sachin Tendulkar stayed not out at 33 off 26 deliveries to pull off a convincing win against Bangladesh Legends.
