Jos Buttler is dominating the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season and has already hit more than 450 runs in just seven matches. He already has three centuries to his name, and once he settles in, there is no one stopping him.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) played the Delhi Capitals (DC) in a clash between two high flying teams. Delhi won the toss and chose to field first. Buttler took some time to get into his groove but once he did, the bowlers were at his mercy. He was nicely complimented by his opener on the other end, Devdutt Padikkal who also scored a brilliant half-century.

The opening wicket partnership was finally broken in the fifteenth over at 151 runs by Khaleel Ahmed. This didn’t change their mindset of Jos and he continued his onslaught. He got to his century and celebrated in style. His teammates also congratulated him and showed support from the stands.

Shimron Hetmyer celebrated rather in a hurry. As soon as Hetmyer, got up from his seat to celebrate his teammate’s century, he banged his on the roof of the player’s dugout. The cameraman caught this hilarious act and the video went viral in no time.

Rajasthan Royals prevail over Delhi Capitals after no-ball controversy

The Capitals came close to chasing down the total but weren’t successful due to late wickets by the Rajasthan bowlers. There was a no-ball controversy as well in the final over where Delhi needed an improbable 36 in 6 balls. Rovman Powell hit three consecutive sixes off the first three balls to put the pressure on Rajasthan’s Obed McCoy.

The third six was the controversial call from the umpire as it should have been a no-ball according to the DC camp. Rishabh Pant and the coaching staff got furious with this decision and the Delhi coaching staff came onto the field to talk to the umpire. In the end, the decision stood and Rajasthan won the game by 15 runs.

This win meant that Rajasthan Royals leaped back to the top of the IPL standings with 10 points and a healthy net run rate.
