Pat Cummins and Shubman Gill were delightfully observed playing rock, paper, scissors with the umpires during the IPL 2024 match in Hyderabad on Thursday, despite the persistent rain delay.
The captains of both teams had some fun before the SRH versus GT IPL 2024 match was cancelled due to rain in Hyderabad. While Sunrisers Hyderabad qualified for the IPL 2024 playoffs, the Gujarat Titans’ season ended with two consecutive washouts.
In a video that went viral on social media, Gill laughed out loud while defeating the Australian racer. Captains Cummins of SunRisers Hyderabad and Shubman Gill of the Gujarat Titans went to meet with the officials after nearly the whole area was covered.
Gill and Cummins had to play ‘rock, paper, scissors’ to choose the winner since it seemed like the umpires were giving them bad news.
