Suryakumar Yadav and the scoop shot are inseparable, with the right-handed batter displaying it in almost every match. On Thursday, during Mumbai Indians’ innings against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, the 34-year-old once again showcased his skill, hitting a boundary off Jofra Archer in the 19th over.
After a dot ball, Archer delivered another yorker, but Yadav anticipated it perfectly, beating the short fine leg with a well-timed scoop shot for a boundary, though he lost his bat in the process. This shot brought MI to 200 in the match.
