Joe Root Helps England Get The Lead
Notably, Team India batted brilliantly in the first innings of the second Test at Lord’s. Indian openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma both had an amazing outing at Lord’s. Moreover, KL Rahul even scored an exceptional century to help India reach the score of 364. Meanwhile, Team England batted even better than India in their first innings. Especially England skipper Joe Root batted amazingly well and helped his team reach 391 to get the 27 runs lead. Notably, Joe Root smashed 180 runs and remained not out even after England got bowled out.
Meanwhile, the Day 4 of the Test started after an interruption from rain. Also, the star batsman KL Rahul who scored a century in the first innings got out at the score of 5 in the second innings.
The bowling change worked for Root with Wood getting the in-form KL Rahul for 5 and India 18 for 1 in second innings. #ENGvIND
