According to the Times of India, Virat Kohli bought a 2000 sq ft villa in Alibaug in 2023, paying INR 36 lakh as stamp duty. With rumors circulating about the couple potentially moving to London permanently, the acquisition of the Alibaug property adds an intriguing twist to the situation.

Virat Kohli will aim to bounce back after a tough Australia tour

Virat Kohli was expected to perform well in Australia, a place where he has always thrived. During the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25, he seemed to find his form with an unbeaten century in the first Test in Perth.

However, his form quickly faded, as he managed only 90 more runs in the following four Tests, finishing the series with 190 runs from five Tests at an average of 23.75. Kohli struggled to build on his Perth performance, repeatedly getting out by edging balls outside the off-stump. His performance drew heavy criticism throughout the tour.

With the Champions Trophy 2025 approaching, India will hope Kohli can make a strong comeback. A solid performance in the upcoming home ODI series against England could provide the confidence boost he needs before the ICC event.
