Watch – Virat Kohli Engaged In War Of Words With Jos Buttler After Latter’s Dismissal

Team India skipper Virat Kohli was seen engaged in a heated argument with Jos Buttler after Bhuvneshwar Kumar removed him during the 5th T20I between India and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, Buttler and Malan shared a 130-run 2nd wicket stand to keep England in the hunt in the run chase after India posted 224 runs in the first innings.

Chasing a mammoth total, Bhuvneshwar Kumar draw the first blood removed Jason Roy in the first over of the run chase. Since then, Jos Butter and Dawid Malan looked flawless hitting the gaps to perfection. Malan, who was struggling to get going in the earlier games, looked calm and composed to find the boundaries while Buttler shifted gears to keep up with the asking rate.

At one stage it looked like England will walk home with the game before Bhuvneshwar Kumar came back again to break the partnership. He has been spectacular with the ball while others have gone for plenty in the match.

The last few deliveries have been fairly quiet for England, and it had led to the massive wicket of Jos Buttler. The length is what got the better of him here. He looked to slog from off stump, but Bhuvneshwar Kumar has hit a back of a length. It struck him high on the bat and he slices it down to long-off and Hardik Pandya completed an easy catch at the boundary.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was seen having a heated argument with Jos Buttler as he walked back to the dressing room. Kohli, who likely to have his emotions up his sleeves, looked animated as he gave a mouthful to the English wicket-keeper batsman. Later, umpire Nitin Menon was seen having a chat with Virat Kohli to pacify the situation and move on with the game.

Earlier in the day, it was a fantastic batting display by the Men in Blue who have posted a massive target of 225 runs in the series decider. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli added 94 runs for the first wicket to set the platform before Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya ran riot as boundaries came by easily. Kohli topped the scoring chart with an unbeaten 80-run knock while Rohit chipped in with 80-odd runs.
