Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli was spotted waving at his wife Anushka Sharma after plucking a one-handed stunner against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Wankhede Stadium. Incidentally, Bangalore defeated Delhi by 16 runs to jump to the third spot in the points table.
Chasing 190 runs looked like an uphill task at the halfway mark but David Warner had other plans. He started off on an explosive note and scored a half-century to keep Delhi in the hunt. But Mitchell Marsh, who was playing his first game, hit a roadblock and his 24-ball 14 took out a lot of the pace from the chase.
Rishabh Pant played in a manner he knows and despite being a little lucky only managed 34 before Virat Kohli produced magic to end his stay in the middle. It was a full toss from Mohammed Siraj and Rishabh Pant tried to launch it over the cover field. The ball was travelling over the head of the covers fielder. But Virat Kohli leapt up and frisked one out of thin air with his right hand.
The crowd went berserk as well. It was an important wicket for Bangalore as it changed the game in RCB’s favour. While celebrating the wicket, Virat Kohli turned to his wife Anushka Sharma, who was present in the stands, o show the ‘V’ sign.

RCB bowlers shine as they sink Delhi Capitals to secure a crucial win
After a blazing start by the Delhi openers, RCB bowlers continued to halt the run chase with wickets at regular intervals. Josh Hazlewood hit the hard lengths and Harshal Patel disguised the slower balls well to ensure RCB won by 16 runs.
The chase was alive for a major part of the innings but Royal Challengers Bangalore always found a way out and that was the difference between both the sides as Delhi Capitals always kept finding dead ends.
