Team India’s premier batter Virat Kohli lit up the third and final ODI in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, December 6, by launching a sensational no-look six off Corbin Bosch. After striking the ball cleanly, the right-hander held his pose and fixed his gaze on the bowler, adding flair to the moment.
The shot came in the 34th over of the innings. The first four balls yielded just three singles, leaving Kohli on strike for the final two deliveries. He first pulled a delivery to the mid-wicket fence for four and then stepped forward to dispatch a short-of-a-good-length ball high over deep mid-wicket for a massive six.

“When I Play With Freedom, Sixes Come Naturally”- Virat Kohli
After claiming the Player of the Series title for scoring 302 runs across three innings, which included two centuries, Virat Kohli mentioned that having a free mindset helped him express himself on the field. The 37-year-old further emphasized his readiness to challenge limits, saying, as per ESPN Cricinfo’s quote:
“Just playing the way I have this series has been the most satisfying for me. Feel really free in my mind, whole game is coming together nicely. I’ve tried to maintain my own standards and make an impact. I can bat long and according to the situation. You have many phases where you feel doubt. You feel nervous, especially in batting where one mistake can cost you.”
“It’s a whole journey, getting better, becoming a better person. I can realise the negative thinking patterns, knowing and working on that helps the temperament. I’m glad to still be contribute to the team. When I play freely, I know I can hit sixes. Just wanted to push my boundaries and go well.”
