West Indies players possess raw power and can clear big boundaries with ease against any opponent across the globe. Recently, Kyle Mayers produced one of the biggest hits displaying 105-m six off Cameron Green in the first T20I match against Australia at Metricon Stadium in Queensland.

Mayers displayed sensational hitting, including a mammoth six over the extra cover fielder that went into the second tier of the stands. The incident happened during the fourth over when Kyle Mayers cleaned his front leg to unleash a beautiful shot.

The southpaw, however, checked his shot but the timing was so pure that travelled a fair distance. The video has been shared a lot on social media and has been praised by one and all.

Kyle Mayers looked in decent touch for his 36-ball 39 runs knock. However, he struggled against the Australian spinners and was eventually castled by Pat Cummins.

After the fall of Mayers wicket, West Indies struggled against a disciplined Australian bowling lineup. Odean Smith and Alazzari Joseph demonstrated big shots as West Indies posted 145 for 9 in 20 overs.

In reply, Australia struggled as they lost two early wickets of David Warner and Mitchell Marsh. Cameron Green and Aaron Finch looked steady before the hosts went down in deep trouble at 58/5.

However, captain Finch and Matthew Wade looked steady keeping the Australian team on course with a 69-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Finch led from the front with a well-made 58 before giving a simple catch to Holder at long-on.

The match ebbed and flowed till the end, with 11 runs required off the final over. Australia registered a thrilling last-over win as Matthew Wade and Mitchell Starc were dropped. Starc hit the winning runs to help the Australian team register a three-wicket win, with 1 ball to spare.

West Indies will look to make amends as they take on Australia in the 2nd T20I at Gabba, Brisbane on October 7.
