South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder delivered a vital breakthrough by removing Travis Head during Australia’s second innings on Day 2 of the 2025 World Test Championship (WTC) final, held on Thursday, June 12, at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
The wicket came on the fourth delivery of the 24th over. Wiaan Mulder pitched it full, and the ball nipped back in sharply. Head failed to get his front foot far enough forward and was beaten on the inside edge. The ball ricocheted off his pad and went on to hit the off stump.
