After winning the T20I series 4-1, West Indies will take on Australia in the first of the three ODIs at Bridgetown, Barbados on Wednesday, July 21.
The West Indies team will look to continue its winning momentum in the ODI series. They have a good mix of experienced and youth players. The concern for West Indies will be the fitness of their skipper, Kieron Pollard. The likes of Nicholas Pooran and Jason Holder will have to step up for their country in the ODI series.

On the other hand, Australia will have to pull up their socks to change things around. They will back their in-form player Mitchell Marsh to come good in the ODIs as well. Marsh was the highest run-scorer in the T20I series with 219 runs in five matches at an average of 43.80. He was also the second on the tally of most wickets with 8 dismissals in the series.
Australia will be without the services of their skipper Aaron Finch, who aggravated his knee injury during the final T20I. Alex Carey will lead the Australian team in his absence.
A big congrats to Alex Carey who will become the 26th man to captain Australia in ODI cricket tomorrow!
