3 Teams Who Can Target Angkrish Raghuvanshi In IPL 2025 Mega Auction

3 Teams Who Can Target Angkrish Raghuvanshi In IPL 2025 Mega Auction

Yash Dayal bowled an excellent 19th over in the opening match of IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025 on Saturday night. The match was between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders). KKR started off quite fast with the bat, but then RCB did well in the last few overs to pull the total of KKR back to 174 at the Eden Gardens.

Dayal Picks Raghuvanshi’s Wicket

Dayal was tasked with the important 19th over. This over is usually crucial regardless of whether it is the first innings or the second innings. Dayal bowled three overs only today. The RCB left armer managed to get the wicket of Angkrish Raghuvanshi who was playing at 30 and was looking well set to end the innings in a big way. The best thing was that Dayal only gave four runs in the nineteenth over.

Why Did Dayal Only Bowl 3 Overs?

Dayal didn’t have a great start in the initial overs. He only gave one single in his first over, which was good, but when he returned again in the powerplay, KKR took him for 20 runs in a single over. Rahane and Narine both hit him for multiple boundaries. This could have led Rajat Patidar, captain of the RCB to avoid giving the ball to Dayal any time soon.

Dayal’s Overall Performance in RCB vs KKR on March 22, 2025

Dayal bowled three overs and gave a total of 25 runs and took one wicket at an economy of 8.30. While he got hit in his second over, no one can overlook the other two crucial overs he bowled for RCB. The total could have looked way more if Dayal would have leaked runs in the 19th over.

KKR had a great start, but couldn’t capitalise on it. Kolkata was expected to make more than 200 runs the way the first ten overs went. However, RCB bowled well and strategically in the last 10 overs. Yash Dayal will be an interesting playing to look out for this season.
