This is the much-awaited arrival of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the year 2025. Indeed, it will have its opening ceremony on Saturday at the historical Eden Gardens, Kolkata; all preparations for the great event are going on, with teams of cricket and Bollywood celebrities trickling into the city.

The very first Bollywood celebrity to show up in the city was Disha Patani, and she was found at the airport. She was then escorted by fans jubilantly craving a glimpse of her. The presence of Disha, who would now be part of the IPL opening ceremony, has only added more excitement and anticipation to the event.

With a motley crowd of Bollywood celebs all set to dazzle, the IPL 2025 opening ceremony promises to be pretty much like a bigger-than-life spectacle. It heralds yet another exhilarating cricket season about to unravel, and fans are waiting with bated breath.

IPL 2025 Opening Ceremony

The inaugural ceremony for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, hosted by BCCI, promises to be an extravagant affair. Marathon Event will take place at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on March 22. It will have much stars and one of them will be Shah Rukh Khan, who will be delivering a monologue before the crowd. Then, they will listen to popular and renowned Shreya Ghoshal, who will enthrall the audience with her beautiful voice.

Then, she would move away for a high-energy number from Disha Patani, who will be dancing with those popular numbers. Karan Aujla, another Indian rapper and singer, is among the guests attending this ceremony.

The ceremony is slated for 6 PM IST. It marks the beginning for the first match-—between the presently defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The opening ceremony promises to be absolutely amazing with such a lineup. This will be the first time in a while that Eden Gardens has hosted the event since 2015, making it a hot affair.
