In Team India‘s fifth and final T20I against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club on Sunday, July 14, keeper-batter Sanju Samson left a notable impression with the bat. He entertained spectators with his batting display, hitting four impressive sixes during his time at the crease.
The most remarkable of these came in the 12th over of India’s innings. Zimbabwean spinner Brandon Mavuta delivered a full-length ball on the off stump. Samson effortlessly dispatched it down the ground, sending a towering six out of the park.
This massive six measured 110 meters in distance. You can view the video of Samson’s impressive shot below:

Sanju Samson emerged as India’s leading run-scorer in the fifth T20I against Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to field first in the fifth T20I against India. The Indian innings got off to a shaky start as Yashasvi Jaiswal, Abhishek Sharma, and Shubman Gill fell early within the powerplay.
Sanju Samson came in to bat at No. 4 with India at 38/2 in 3.5 overs. He exhibited remarkable calmness under pressure, stabilizing India’s innings with a fine half-century.
The 29-year-old scored 58 runs off 45 balls, forming a crucial partnership of 65 runs for the fourth wicket alongside Riyan Parag. India posted a total of 167/6 in their allotted 20 overs. Shivam Dube also contributed with a brisk 26-run innings.
Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarabani stood out among the bowlers, finishing with figures of 4-0-19-2. Notably, the ongoing fifth T20I is inconsequential as India had already secured the series with a decisive 10-wicket victory in the fourth match, taking an unassailable 3-1 lead.
