Kings XI Punjab had a horrible end to the season as they failed to qualify for the playoffs due to improper team combinations and the inconsistency of the middle order.

Bought for a whopping 11 crores in the auction, KL Rahul played a vital role in their journey of ups and downs and amassed over 659 runs finishing at the top three scores in the edition.

Punjab yet again disappointed their fans by not making it to playoffs and the management will be really pondering to make few changes before the next edition.

They, in turn, became the first team failing to qualify for the playoffs after winning the five out of first seven matches. Punjab represented IPL final only once under the captaincy of George Bailey in 2014.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj”s wife Hazel Keech clicked a funny picture of the blistering batsman during the season. The picture was shared by Rahul himself mentioning the credits to Hazel. He was seen playing with two huge dolls at an airport.

It is to be noted that KL Rahul has been an active social media user. He is known for posting pictures with his pet dog (Simba) and other travel pictures. But this is really one of the odd ones in his list and has received numerable likes till date.

KL Rahul will now be a part of the Indian test squad against Afghanistan and it will be really interesting how he can make the best use of home conditions at Bengaluru. His IPL blitz also earned him a call to the limited overs tour of England.
