England women wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor took a brilliant catch from Ashes 2013 against the arch-rivals Australia at Brighton, Hove on 25th August 2013. In a rain-curtailed match, reduced to 36 overs side, Australian women elected to bat first. Australia were 126 for 3 in 25.5 overs when Fields tried to hit a reverse sweep and Sarah Taylor took a brilliant catch to dismiss the captain for 27.
It was a special catch from Sarah Taylor who produced one-handed catch which stunned the bowler. Laura Marsh was the bowler on that occasion. Australian women posted 203 for 4 in 36 overs. Chasing the modest target of 204 to win, Sarah Taylor contributed 64, Heather Knight with 69 helped England to win the match by 5 wickets with 15 balls to spare.
Ashes are one the biggest series between England and Australia. England women won the Ashes-winning ODI series 2-1 and whitewashing Australia 3-0 in T20 series. The one and only test match were drawn.
