Rishabh Pant is one of the rising stars of Indian cricket. The 24-year-old is the captain of his IPL franchise- Delhi Capitals. He has also led India in 5 T20Is.
Pant was named in GQ’s List of 25 most influential young Indians in 2020-21. He has played 7 IPL seasons and has made around INR 58.8 crores from his salary alone. Pant was picked by the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) for INR 1.9 crores in 2016.
Pant is currently a part of the Grade A list (INR 5 Crores) of BCCI’s Central Contract 2022 for Indian cricketers. Only Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah are at a higher pay scale than Pant.

#3 Brand Ambassador of Uttarakhand
At the age of 24, Rishabh Pant is the brand ambassador of his state- Uttarakhand. Chief Minister of Uttarakhand- Pushkar Singh Dhami, states that the government chose Pant as the Brand Ambassador to encourage the youth towards sports and public health.

#2 Played Age-Group Cricket for Rajasthan
Rishabh Pant is from Delhi’s famous Sonnet Cricket Club which was founded by Late Tarak Sinha. The club has produced some of country’s top domestic and international cricketers, such as Manoj Prabhakar, Atul Wassan, Aakash Chopra, Anjum Chopra, Ashish Nehra, Shikhar Dhawan, Nitish Rana.
When Rishabh was 12, Coach Tarak advised him to move to Rajasthan for better opportunities. Pant played U-14 and U-16 cricket in Rajasthan for some time. However, being an outsider, he faced discrimination in the Rajasthan Cricket Circle. Pant moved back to Delhi, worked hard and made his Ranji Trophy debut at the age of 18.
In the 2016-17 season, Pant smashed the fastest Ranji Trophy century. His ton came off just 48 balls against Jharkhand. For the 2016-17 Vijay Hazare Trophy, He replaced Gautam Gambhir as Delhi’s captain.
#1 Love for i20
Rishabh Pant is a motorhead. His current collection includes luxury cars like Audi A8, Mercedes Benz C-Class, Ford Mustang, Mercedes GLE. However, his dream car was always, the Family Hatchback- “Hyundai i20”.
Here’s Rishabh talking about i20 in an interview: “For some reason, I have always loved that car (i20) from childhood. Gaya hoga usmey, yaad nahi ab but all I knew was that it would be my first car. Even if I have 100 crores, I wanted to buy that.”
