Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Ben Stokes was ruled out of IPL 2021 after he injured a finger on his left hand during the team’s match against Punjab Kings on 12 April 2021 in Mumbai. Reports later said that he sustained a broken finger, which will, unfortunately, rule him out of the season for the Royal. The franchise is already missing Jofra Archer who will join the squad late after his successful hand surgery.

Ben Stokes tried full-throttle to complete a catch in the outfield but jammed his fingers on the ground. He then walked off the field for treatment and walked back into the field. The franchise has also come out with an official statement earlier tonight. Here is a list of players who can replace the English all-rounder for the Royals.
