Nepal enjoyed strong backing from the crowd at Grand Prairie Stadium, who seemed wholly behind them against the Men in Orange. Despite visible frustration when Rohit Paudel dropped Max’s catch, the fans applauded their team’s resilience as they defended a target of 107, pushing the game to the 19th over.

Earlier this year, Nepal hosted a tri-nation T20I series involving the Netherlands and Namibia. The fifth match of the series between Nepal and Netherlands took place at Kirtipur’s TU Cricket Ground, where the home team secured a five-wicket victory.
