The legendary Sri Lankan all-rounder is considered one of the best ODI players of all time. In the first half of his career, he was a bowler who could bat a bit but later he completely revolutionized everything scoring over 13000 ODI runs.
The southpaw revolutionized One Day International by playing attacking innings in this format. Even in his era, he was considered as greatest attacking batsman. His career spanned over two decades and he played cricket for 22 long years.
Sri Lankan Jayasuriya played 445 ODI games batted in 433 innings and scored 13430 runs at an average of 32.36. He bowled 14874 deliveries for his national side in 368 innings and picked 323 wickets at an average of 36.75 and an economy of 4.78.
5. Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh)
The Bangladesh all-around sensation Shakib Al Hasan is arguably the best cricketer to come out of the country. He is equally impactful in ODIs with bat and ball in hand. Shakib is the fastest cricketer to reach the milestone of 5,000 runs and 250 wickets in One Day Internationals.
Considered a modern-day legend, currently, he is among the top 3 all format all-rounders in cricket. His career is also filled with many controversies he even got banned several times. Hasan is also known for his rude behavior in the field recently he was struck in the controversy for uprooting the stumps and kicking the stumps in front of umpires in DPL.
The member of the Bangla Tigers represented the national side in 212 One Day International matches batting in 200 innings and scoring 6455 runs at an average of 37.52. He delivered 10824 bowls in 209 ODI innings bagging 269 wickets at an average of 29.87 and an economy of 4.45.
