The New Zealand all rounder was picked up by Delhi in tenth edition of IPL. His role in the side was to come in at No.5 and 6 and launch an assault in death overs and also to chip in with 2-3 cheap overs. He failed to live up to his expectations to a great extent. He could only manage 142 runs in 11 matches at a dismal strike rate of just 115. His performances with the ball were not noteworthy as well, just 3 scalps in the entire tournament.
