The talented wicketkeeper-batter from Bengal Richa Ghosh made rapid gains in the latest-released ICC T20I Rankings for batters, moving 11 places up to 44th spot. She made her T20I debut for Women in Blue on 12th February 2020 against Australia. Her performances in the shortest format have been impressive with 376 runs from 27 matches at a strike rate of 130.55.
Ghosh provided a brilliant display of hitting in the second T20I against Australia in the ongoing five-match series at the DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai. Richa Ghosh made an unbeaten 26 off 13 balls with three massive sixes and helped Team India tie the match.
Tahlia McGrath, on the other hand, became the No. 1 ranked T20I batter with an impressive unbeaten 70 off 51 balls in the second T20I match played at Navi Mumbai. She has been in excellent form with 2 brilliant knocks during the ongoing series against India.

Beth Mooney fell one place down to second after an unbeaten knock of 82 in the second T20I match. Smriti Mandhana occupies third position with a sensational 79 and an unbeaten 13 in the Super Over. The stylish left-handed batter touches her highest rating points in T20I cricket.
The experienced Sophie Devine climbs to the fourth spot after decent knocks in the T20I series against Bangladesh at home. Meg Lanning who is on indefinite break slips down one place to number 5.
Shafali Verma looked in sensational touch during the second T20I climbs to sixth spot. She made a quickfire 34 off 23 balls and put on 76 runs for the opening wicket along with Smriti Mandhana.
Suzie Bates slips down one place to No.7. Alyssa Healy, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Ash Gardner occupy the eight, ninth, and 10th positions in batting rankings.
India pull one back against Australia to level series at 1-1
The ongoing 5-match T20I series between India and Australia is level at 1-1. The Australian team won the first game easily by nine wickets while the Indian team showed their courage and character to beat them in a thrilling Super Over.
Both teams will square off in the third T20I match of the series at Brabourne Stadium, CCI on 14 December 2022.
