Dwayne Bravo comes out of retirement , available for T20I”s

Carribean all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has come out to his retirement to help his team in the shortest format of the game. The 36-year old last played an international T20 game in 2016 against Pakistan. 

In his latest social media post, Dwayne Bravo mentioned the reasons that led to his decision. The coach and the current skipper being the primary ones, Bravo said that he is enthusiastic to be a part of the “young” team. The side will have a lot of experience in their middle order (combined with the likes of Russell, Bravo, and Pollard).

Known for his expertise in the shortest format of the game, this announcement would certainly boost the confidence levels of the West Indian side as Their bowling hasn”t been at the “top-notch”.

Focus is to improve in rankings – Bravo

Bravo stressed that his focus is currently on improving the T20I rankings, a format for which West Indies is known for.

However, Bravo said that he is not thinking much about his place in T20 WC next year. Speaking on the same at an event in Chennai, he said “I”m not confident that I should get picked, I will take step by step. First of all, I would like to get picked for the first series, World T20 is all the way down in October, there are 19-20 games before that.
