Former England superstar Kevin Pietersen has been a famous name in India. He has been a part of the lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL) and has toured India on multiple occasions with the England team and for tourist purposes.
It was in the second season that Kevin Pietersen associated himself with the Indian Premier League (IPL). Along with fellow English teammate Andrew Flintoff, Pietersen became the most expensive player in the auction held ahead of the tournament.
After playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in his first edition, he also plied his trade for Delhi Daredevils (now known as Delhi Capitals), Sunrisers Hyderabad, and now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiants. And during a conversation, Pietersen spoke about his relations with players like Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli.

Kevin Pietersen conceded that he knew current Indian captain Virat Kohli would be a massive figure in the sport. The South Africa-born cricketer also stated that a combination of determination, work ethic, learning process, and approach was a testament that he was destined for greatness. The two greats of the respective eras were part of RCB in 2009 and 2010.
Furthermore, Pietersen shared words of praise for the former India opener Virender Sehwag. The 39-year old added that his most fun-filled experiences on the cricket field are with Sehwag.
