The all-rounder from Bangladesh Shakib Al Hasan has locked himself after travelling to the United States in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The novel virus has halted the smooth running of human lives, forcing to stop many sporting events including the Indian Premier League.
According to the World Health Organisation(WHO), there is 2,67.013, confirmed cases of coronavirus, with a death toll of 11201. More than 185 countries have been affected by COVID-19 which can spread rapidly in the coming days. The virus has left its mark in India as well with 300+ cases reported and a death toll of 6.

Upon landing in America, Shakib Al Hasan headed straight to his hotel and went in self-isolation. He also informed the authorities about his actions Speaking on his Facebook page, the star all-rounder said that to keep away from the germs, he has not met his family as well.
“I just arrived in the United States. Although the fear has always worked a bit when I was in the plane. Still, I tried to find out how to keep myself safe from the germs. Then when I arrived in the United States, I headed straight to a hotel room.

I have informed them and told them that I will be here for a while and since I have came from a flight I have a bit of a risk. So I kept myself isolated. Because of that, I didn’t meet my baby. It’s definitely hard for me,” Shakib Al Hasan said on his Facebook fan page.
Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan is currently suspended for two years by the International Cricket Council for failing to intimate them about the approach of a bookie. In conclusion, Shakib urged the citizens to stay safe and follow the guidelines to put an end to this pandemic.
