Meanwhile, yorker refers to a full-length delivery aimed at the toes of a batsman with very little scope of errors. An inch here or there, the batsmen will get enough room to manoeuvre the field to put the ball to the boundary. In his recent video, Aakash Chopra rated former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff in the sixth ahead of the likes of Brett Lee and Zaheer Khan. Chopra mentioned Flintoff’s ability to bowl reverse swinging yorkers which earned him a lot of wickets during his prime.
The former Delhi cricketer went with Australia’s Mitchell Starc for the fifth position – who has been spot on for his country in the last few years. India’s Jasprit Bumrah, who is only a few years old in international cricket occupied the fourth spot in Aakash Chopra’s list.
“While Bumrah hasn’t played that much of cricket in his short career, as compared to other players, but he has done wonders,” said Chopra.
