After Gujarat Titans’ match against Lucknow Super Giants on Saturday, Krunal and Hardik Pandya shared a tender moment after the IPL 2023 game.
Post Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, the contest between the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) played on April 22 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya displayed their brotherly affection for one another.
Both players swapped jerseys after the game was over. In contrast to Hardik, who was sporting Krunal’s Super Giants jersey, Krunal was sporting his brother’s Titans attire. Hardik posted a video on his Instagram account with the caption, “Only love my brother. ”
The Titans’ seven-run victory over the Super Giants gave Hardik plenty to celebrate. With two fours and four sixes, the right-handed batter scored 66 runs off 50 balls. On the strength of his performance, the Titans amassed a respectable score of 135 for the loss of only six wickets on a challenging pitch.
GT held the Super Giants to 128 for seven after recording a below-par score
The Titans’ preferred bowlers, Noor Ahmad and Mohit Sharma, each claimed two wickets, were successful. Sharma delivered his best performance to lead the Titans to victory with 12 runs to stop in the final over.
Krunal also bowled well, recording final figures of 4-0-16-2. Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill, the GT’s opening batsmen, were both bowled by him. Later, he added 23 runs off the same number of balls with two fours and a six. But his knock was unsuccessful.
KL Rahul scored 68 runs off 61 balls with eight fours, but the Super Giants were unable to win because he was dismissed in the last over.
Gujarat Titans registered a miraculous win over Lucknow Super Giants, by restricting them from chasing the target and fans were shocked by their epic performance. The LSG team seem disappointed after losing a close contest at IPL 2023.
