With a magnificent knock against Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his third 50-plus score of the Indian Premier League 2023.
Jaiswal continued his outstanding batting performance in the IPL 2023 against CSK at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, scoring a fifty in just 26 balls. The RR opener got off to an incredible start, hitting CSK pacer Akash Singh for two consecutive boundaries in the first two balls of the game before hitting him for another four in the first over.
In the third over, he continued to batter Akash, hammering him for three boundaries and a six. When other bowlers began to attack him, Jaiswal did not stop, hitting Tushar Deshpande and Ravindra Jadeja for sixes each as well. The 21-year-old batsman scored his fifty in just 26 balls and led Jos Buttler in an aggressive 86-run partnership.

The dangerous Buttler was dismissed by Jadeja in the ninth over after he had scored 27 runs off 21 balls Jadeja gave CSK its first breakthrough. In the 10th over, he even hit Moeen Ali for a huge 86-meter six over extra cover as he continued to attack the CSK bowling unit.
With eight boundaries and four maximums, Jaiswal went on to score 77 runs off 43 deliveries. After trying to hit a length ball over long-on but missing the middle and having it land in the safe hands of Ruturaj Gaikwad, he was eventually dismissed by Deshpande in the 14th over.
With 304 runs scored in eight games during IPL 2023, Jaiswal has been in superb form. He got the season started with an outstanding 37-ball 54 against SunRisers Hyderabad. Bto this match, he scored 60 runs against the Delhi Capitals, 44 runs against the Lucknow Super Giants, and 47 runs against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
