Dhoni is currently competing in the Indian Premier League. And is one of the cricketers competing in the season who are most sought-after. And frequently following games, the CSK captain could be seen speaking with the younger generation of players.

KL Rahul was one of many players who made their debut in the international game. While Dhoni was the captain of the Indian team from 2011 until 2017.
Rahul has now spoken out about playing for India under MS Dhoni. He says it was essential for him to launch his career under the 41-year-old’s captaincy. And shares the wealth of knowledge he gained from working under his guidance.

Rahul shared some important advice that the former captain had repeatedly given to him while expressing his regret that Dhoni is no longer in the Indian team’s locker room.
“I only became aware of that man’s presence and the greatness he possessed much later after he had retired and was no longer present in the dressing room. Being in the team dressing room and being led by MS Dhoni is probably the fantasy of every cricket fan”.

KL Rahul was forced to leave the competition midway through the Lucknow Super Giants’ season due to a hamstring injury, Rahul will also miss the World Test Championship final. Which is scheduled to take place between June 7-11 against Australia.
