[WATCH]: Rishabh Pant Shares Latest Workout Video; David Warner Responds

At present, Rishabh Pant, the standout wicketkeeper-batsman of Team India, is in the process of rehabilitation due to the several injuries he endured in a dreadful car collision last December. Pant has initiated his recuperation process and is utilizing his social media accounts to provide his supporters with progress reports regarding his training.

On Monday, August 28, the skilled young individual posted a video on his Instagram account, where he is captured cycling on a stationary bicycle.

In response to Rishabh Pant’s post, Australian opening batsman David Warner expressed his enthusiasm about the left-hander’s recuperation. He left a comment:

“This make me smile and very happy 🙌❤️.”

Significantly, it’s worth mentioning that Warner and Pant are anticipated to be teammates for the Delhi Capitals (DC) during the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). During the IPL 2023 season, Warner led the team as the skipper while Pant was unavailable.

“Comeback is quite far away” -Aakash Chopra’s take on Rishabh Pant’s comeback

Rishabh Pant has recommenced his batting practice following an extended hiatus, and clips of his batting have gained immense popularity on social platforms. Nevertheless, former Indian opening batsman Aakash Chopra asserted that fans will need to be patient for a while longer before witnessing the return of the prominent cricketer to competitive play.

Chopra expressed his viewpoint that even though Pant has initiated the process of confronting bowlers delivering at a speed of 140 kph, a return to the field isn’t anticipated in the near future. Sharing his thoughts on his YouTube channel, the former cricketer turned commentator remarked:

“Rishabh Pant had posted a video where Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul were seen batting after a long time. Now his videos have come from which it seems he is coming back. He has started batting against the bowling machine. He has started playing against 140 kph but Pant’s comeback is quite far away as of now.”

Pant has been absent from several crucial matches due to his injuries. He was unable to participate in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC 2023) final against Australia and the IPL 2023. His prospects of recovering completely in time for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 also appear quite limited.
