[WATCH]: Former Indian Captain MS Dhoni Travels By Jetty For A Shooting Event

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni was seen on a jetty ride, marking a departure from his last appearance on the cricket field, which was during the IPL 2023 final between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT).

This final was particularly significant as Dhoni led CSK to victory, securing their fifth IPL trophy, a feat that puts them on par with Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians, who have also won the IPL title five times.

Despite dealing with a knee problem during the season, Dhoni continued to contribute significantly with brief appearances in batting. His captaincy skills and wicket-keeping remained invaluable to CSK, showcasing his enduring value to the team.

On Sunday, a fan posted a video on Twitter to offer a sneak peek into MS Dhoni’s recent boat ride. Dhoni was seen in the company of actor Ram Charan, suggesting that they are collaborating on a commercial shoot.

Suresh Raina thinks Suryakumar Yadav can be as effective as MS Dhoni in the death overs

Suresh Raina believes Suryakumar Yadav has the potential to replicate MS Dhoni’s role as a finisher in the current Indian team during the World Cup. He expressed this opinion during a discussion on Sports Tak:

“If anyone can make a huge impact in the death overs apart from MS Dhoni, then it’s Suryakumar Yadav.”

Raina added that India boasts a formidable opening duo in Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. He further anticipated that they would earn the admiration of fans similar to legendary pairs like Sachin-Sehwag and Sachin-Ganguly. He continued:

“Shubman Gill will be India’s strongest card. He has been in stunning form and has figured out how he needs to play in ODIs. He has spent some time with Virat and is batting with Rohit Sharma, who has hit double centuries.”

”Gill has also hit a double century. Gill and Rohit’s pair will win the hearts of people, just like Sachin-Sehwag and Sachin-Ganguly did in the past.”

To wrap up, he provided his World Cup predictions:

“India, New Zealand, Australia, and England. I would also want to add Afghanistan and South Africa as wildcard entries. The World Cup will be played across 10 venues for around 45 days.”

”Considering the months in which they are playing, it will be challenging for the fast bowlers. This is why I believe one more team from the subcontinent, apart from India, can do very well.”
