Team India is dominating the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, leading the points table and also in the batting and bowling charts. They defeated New Zealand in a clash of the table-toppers recently on October 22 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala to continue their winning streak.

Team India has won all of their five matches so far in the tournament. They have ten points from five games and an NRR of 1.353. The Rohit Sharma-led team is very close to securing a spot in the knockout stages of the tournament. They will be keen to continue their winning momentum and stay unbeaten throughout the tournament. This feat has been achieved four times in the past.

In this article, we take a look at the teams who won the ODI World Cup without losing a single match in that edition:

They won the title defeating Australia at the Lord’s Stadium by 17 runs.

#1979 ODI World Cup

West Indies won the Men’s ODI World Cup in consecutive years, continuing their domination. They defeated England in the final at the iconic Lord’s Stadium by 92 runs to clinch the trophy. West Indies did not lose a single match in the tournament. They won two of their three league-stage matches, while the game against Sri Lanka was abandoned due to rain.
