Above Warner in the run-scorers’ list are Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, and Kumar Sangakkara. Tendulkar leads with 2,278 runs in 45 matches, followed by Ponting with 1,743 runs in 46 matches, and Sangakkara with 1,532 runs in 37 matches.
Regarding the match, an opening partnership of 175 runs between Travis Head (109 runs in 67 balls) and Warner, combined with valuable contributions from the lower middle-order players like Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis, and skipper Pat Cummins, powered Australia to a total of 388 in 49.2 overs.
The standout bowlers for New Zealand were Glenn Phillips, who took 3 wickets for 37 runs, and Trent Boult, with 3 wickets for 77 runs. Mitchell Santner claimed two wickets, and Matt Henry and James Neesham each secured one wicket.
