India’s premier all-rounder Hardik Pandya returns to nets after recovering from an ankle injury that he suffered during the match against Bangladesh played at MCA Stadium, Pune. He is currently began training at National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru. The Indian team management wants him to be fit for the knockout stage that will start on 15th November 2023.

The Indian Cricket Team is on a roll winning 6 matches in a row. Thanks to a superb bowling effort by Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, India defended 229 runs against England at Lucknow and won the match by 100 runs.

Hardik Pandya missed the last two matches against New Zealand and England. The Indian team would look to continue their winning momentum as they will play Sri Lanka in Mumbai on 2nd November, followed by against South Africa in Kolkata on 5th November and the final league match in Bengaluru on 12th November.

“Hardik Pandya has already had a couple of net sessions at the NCA, is under constant supervision of the BCCI medical team and looking good,” a source told News18. “It will be difficult to put a date on return at this stage but signs are encouraging and India’s unbeaten run has certainly allowed him more time to recover and be ready for the knockouts.”

The Indian Team has been on a roll at the top of points table with 6 successive wins in the tournament so far. Hardik Pandya featured against Australia, Afghanistan, Pakistan before getting injured while saving the ball on his follow through. He only bowled 3 deliveries before it was completed by Virat Kohli.

Indian team showed their class in every match so far during 2023 World Cup. They began the tournament with a comphrensive 6 wicket win over Australia, dominated Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh. They were given a tough fight by New Zealand at Dharmshala but won by 4 wickets.

Mohammed Shami returned to playing XI after missing four matches. He took 5 wickets against New Zealand at Dharmshala and then took 4 scalps against England that led India to a famous win.
