IND vs AFG: [WATCH] Rohit Sharma’s Hilarious Banter ‘Pehle Hi Do Zero…’ With Umpire Goes Viral

Renowned for his humorous remarks, Rohit Sharma’s interaction with on-field umpire Virender Sharma became the talk of the town during the third T20I clash between India and Afghanistan in Bengaluru. In the preceding moments, Rohit, having won the toss, opted to bat in the final T20I of the series.

With India holding a 2-0 lead, they aim to achieve a clean sweep in this seriesā€”a crucial preparation ahead of the highly anticipated T20 World Cup slated to happen later this year in the West Indies and the United States. The significance of this match is underscored by the fact that it serves as India’s last T20I before the global tournament.

Underlining the team’s commitment to fine-tuning its lineup, India made three changes for this encounter. Sanju Samson, Avesh Khan, and Kuldeep Yadav were brought in, replacing Jitesh Sharma, Arshdeep Singh, and Axar Patel, respectively. The chosen playing XI for India includes Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Mukesh Kumar, and the newly added players.

Rohit Sharma said: “We will bat first. We bowled in the first two games, so we’ll bat today. Nothing to do with the wicket, just want to try some combinations and give some chances. We have ticked a few boxes, this is another opportunity to try new faces. We have made three changes -Sanju, Avesh and Kuldeep are in. Axar, Jitesh and Arshdeep are out”

The Afghan side, seeking a turnaround, fielded Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zadran, Gulbadin Naib, Azmatullah Omarzai, Mohammad Nabi, Najibullah Zadran, Karim Janat, Sharafuddin Ashraf, Qais Ahmad, Mohammad Saleem Safi, and Fareed Ahmad Malik. As the players took their positions, the cricketing world eagerly anticipated the outcome of this clash, which carried significant implications for both teams on the eve of the impending global spectacle.

Ibrahim Zardan said: “We wanted to bowl first. We have taken some positives from the series, we’ll try for a few more today. We have got three changes as well.”
