Wicket-keeper batter Dhruv Jurel opened up on receiving maiden India call-up for the five-match Test series against England. He expressed that he got nervous when he saw his name in the Indian test team. He also revealed his strategy to find a place in the Indian team’s bus.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video featuring the wicket-keeper and Yashasvi Jaiswal on Instagram on Wednesday, February 14. Jaiswal asked Jurel how he decides where to sit in the Indian team bus. The youngster responded with his interesting strategy. He said,
“To be honest I was literally nervous as soon as I got to know my name is in the Indian team. So I was just worried. I need to find, where I should sit in the bus. Because if I sit somewhere, and someone comes and says, this is my seat. So I was literally nervous. I came up with this strategy if the bus is leaving at 8, so I will come on the bus at 7.59.”
