Team India celebrities Virat Kohli and Arshdeep Singh danced to Daler Mehndi’s famous song ‘Tunak Tunak’ in joy at their victory celebrations after prevailing in the 2024 T20 World Cup. They were united by other Indian team participants, including Axar Patel and Mohammed Siraj, but Kohli and Arshdeep were the highlight.
India triumphed over South Africa by seven runs in a thrilling 2024 T20 World Cup final at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, on Saturday, June 29. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the Men in Blue posted a total of 176-7 in 20 overs. During the chase, the Proteas came close but were restricted to 169-8.
Many Indian team members became emotional, shedding tears or having moist eyes immediately after the final ball. Later, the players decided to celebrate the significant occasion. Kohli and Arshdeep led the dancing, joined by Axar Patel, Mohammed Siraj, and even Rinku Singh.

Arshdeep and Kohli danced effortlessly to the upbeat ‘Tunak Tunak’ song. Although some of the other team members didn’t quite match their dance skills, it didn’t matter. The ICC shared a video of the celebrations with the caption:
“When you win, dance like everyone’s watching.”

Before showcasing their impressive dancing skills, Kohli and Arshdeep played vital roles in Team India’s victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup final. Kohli, who had been struggling with the bat leading up to the final, top-scored for the Men in Blue with 76 off 59 balls, hitting six fours and two sixes in his outstanding innings.

With the ball, left-arm pacer Arshdeep delivered impressive figures of 2-20. He claimed the crucial wicket of South African captain Aiden Markram for 4 and dismissed the well-set Quinton de Kock for 39. Other key performers for India in the memorable triumph included Axar Patel (47 off 31), Jasprit Bumrah (2-18), and Hardik Pandya (3-20).
