[WATCH]- Liam Dawson Bowls A Potential ‘Ball Of The Tournament’ To Get Ryan Higgins Out In The One Day Cup

In the ongoing One Day Cup on Wednesday, August 14, Liam Dawson bowled a fantastic delivery to send Ryan Higgins back to the pavilion. This game involved Hampshire and Middlesex, with Northwood as its host.

The dismissal was recorded in the 38th over of Middlesex’s chase. The left-arm spinner used a length ball that altered its course from leg stump to hit off-stump because the right-handed batter completely missed its line. Most probably, he expected the ball to be straightforward. It is typical for such movement when there are cracks on a pitch where a ball is bowled.

The official handle for One Day Cup shared a video showing:

“Ball of the tournament? Liam Dawson to Ryan Higgins. Play that.”

Liam Dawson ended up with remarkable stats of 2/51 within the duration of 10 overs. Not only that but he also made a significant contribution with his bat as he accumulated 48 runs from 53 balls, hitting a six and five boundaries altogether.
