“Mohammed Siraj has great energy”- Marnus Labuchange

Before the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Marnus Labuschagne, an Australian cricketer showed his respects to Mohammed Siraj, an Indian fast bowler. Both players are expected to play important roles when India’s 5-match Test series starts in November 2024 against Australia. Labuschagne remembered his long association with Siraj while they were together at the MRF Academy during the 2015-16 season.

Marnus Labuschagne elaborated: “I enjoy battles with Mohammed Siraj for many reasons. We actually were at the academy in 2015-16, and he was working with the MRF Academy, and we played against each other. So that’s when I first met him and to see his career go in that direction”

“He’s got great passion, great energy and great love for the game. It’s been nice to see our careers moving together from such different experiences” Marnus Labuschagne added.

Siraj has made 240 deliveries to Labuschagne in Test cricket; he has scored 122 runs off those deliveries. He has, however, also been knocked twice by a top speedster.
