India’s 2-0 series victory over Bangladesh was capped off by a unique ceremony in which fielding coach T. Dilip recognized the team’s best fielders. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mohammed Siraj finished as joint winners.

Jaiswal, the southpaw hitter, won the Best Fielder award, while Siraj, the pace wonder, was named Impact Fielder of the Series. The duo edged out skipper Rohit Sharma for the win. Their superb fielding contributed significantly to India’s overwhelming result.

Once India won the second Test match at Kanpur by seven wickets, the customary medal ceremony was held in the dressing room. The series ended 2-0 with this victory.

India’s success can be attributed to outstanding fielding, as demonstrated by T. Dilip’s acknowledgment. The team’s victory was emphasized by Jaiswal and Siraj’s combined accomplishment. The fielding skills of Jaiswal and Siraj have raised the bar for the team’s future struggles as India celebrates its comfortable series victory.

T. Dilip addressed a jubilant Indian dressing room, praising the fielders’ intention to turn half-chances into spectacular catches on the field. At a moment when reflexes and focus were put to the test, he praised the slip cordon and gave them a shoutout.

The three people who were shortlisted to compete for the medal were Siraj, Rohit Sharma, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Dilip went on to thank captain Rohit Sharma specifically, saying that when it came to catching, he was as dependable as a “Swiss watch.”

The Indian squad displayed a dominant display on the field, highlighted by superb takes in both Kanour and Chennai by Yashasvi Jaiswal and a remarkable one-handed catch by Rohit Sharma. Among the other stars who made some incredible efforts to take quick catches and stop boundaries and runs from flowing were Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli.
