PCB Faces Harsh Criticism For Delaying Salaries Of Star Players

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has once again found itself in hot water, facing harsh criticism from both the media and fans. “Additionally, the sponsorship payments for the logo on their shirts have also been overdue for several months,” it added.

For star players like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, the delay is more than just a financial inconvenience. These players represent the heart and soul of Pakistan cricket, and their delayed payments are a serious concern. PCB’s explanation

“It is a work in progress. As soon as the lists are finalised and approved, contracts will be offered with effect from 1 July 2024,” the board said as quoted in the report.
