Women's T20 World Cup 2024/25, NZ-W vs WI-W 2nd Semi-Final Match Preview - October 18 at T20 World Cup: West Indies take on New Zealand in a battle of underdogs

The two teams that will be in the fight for the semi-final position in the T20 Women’s Cricket Super League are New Zealand Women (NZ-W) and West Indies Women (WI-W). But on the current form and the records of the past, remarkably the West Indies seems much more favorable.

Given that this team is from the West Indies, they are blessed with very strong batting order, led by Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin together with quite a strong and a balanced bowling lineup.

New Zealand has displayed great stamina through Sophie Devine but the power packed Caribbean team the West Indies may pose some problem to New Zealand.
