Indian cricket star Virat Kohli recently took a photo with the cabin crew on an Indigo flight, with the images shared on social media before the second Test against New Zealand in Pune.

Kohli delivered a crucial performance in India’s second innings during the first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru, scoring a solid 70 runs off 102 balls before being caught behind on the last ball of Day 3.

Following India’s eight-wicket defeat in the Bengaluru match, Kohli went to Mumbai to attend a Krishna Das Kirtan with his wife, Anushka Sharma. During his flight, he pleased the cabin crew by posing for a few pictures.

It is important to note that during his 70-run innings, Virat Kohli achieved another milestone, becoming the fourth Indian batter to surpass the 9,000-run mark in Test cricket. He joined the ranks of Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, and Rahul Dravid in this exclusive group.

Virat Kohli arrived in Pune on Tuesday ahead of the second Test against New Zealand

The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, arrived in Pune on Monday, October 21, for the second match of their three-Test home series against New Zealand. However, Virat Kohli did not travel with the team, as he flew to Mumbai instead.

Kohli arrived in Pune on Tuesday to join India’s Test team. The experienced player was spotted at Mumbai airport wearing an all-black outfit and a red cap.

The second Test of the current series is set to take place at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, starting Thursday, October 24. New Zealand currently leads the series 1-0 after their historic victory in Bengaluru.

The visitors bowled India out for a mere 46 runs in the first innings and successfully chased down a target of 107 on Day 5, marking their first-ever Test win in India since 1988.
