Sarfaraz Suffers a Minor Injury at Nets
During the same practice, Sarfaraz endured a minor injury after being hit on his right elbow. Although the injury was not severe, he left the nets as a precaution and received attention from the medical team.
Reports indicate that he’s expected to return to practice by November 15, as he remains a candidate for the upcoming series opener at Perth’s Optus Stadium. Sarfaraz will be contending for a spot in the playing XI, possibly competing with Dhruv Jurel, a promising young wicketkeeper-batter who has recently impressed with his performances.
India’s Batting Options Depend on Rohit Sharma’s Availability
As India prepares for the Border-Gavaskar series, there are still uncertainties around the playing XI. Should captain Rohit Sharma be unavailable, KL Rahul may step in as an opener alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal.
