The entire cricket fraternity has been shaken by the news of Pant’s leaving from the Delhi Capitals. What made Delhi take such an action against Pant still remains unknown, which can leave fans and pundits, too, debating the things surrounding his leaving.

Rishabh Pant said goodbye to the Delhi Capitals with an emotional note that he shared with all the fans on social media. It was a heartfelt tribute from Pant to the team for having nurtured his talent for almost a decade. As he turns the page for a new chapter with the Lucknow Super Giants, fans will be keenly watching him move on.

In a post on social media, Rishabh Pant wrote: “The journey with the Delhi Capitals has been nothing short of amazing. From the thrills on the field to the moments off it, I’ve grown in ways I never imagined. I came here as a teenager and we grew together over the last nine years”

“What made this journey all worthwhile is you, the fans. You’ve embraced me, cheered for me an stood by me in one of the toughest phases in my life. As I move on, I carry your love and support in my heart. I’ll look forward to entertaining you whenever I take the field. Thank you for being my family and making this journey so special” Rishabh Pant added.

Meanwhile, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) placed a hefty bid on Indian cricketer Ravindra Pant, but the Royal Challengers Bangalore countered the efforts by raising the amount to Rs 10 crore. While SRH also joined the fray at Rs 20 crore, Delhi Capitals momentarily took Pant before being countered by Lucknow for an unbelievable Rs 27 crore bid, which stands as the record for the IPL auction.
