This new contract brings an end to Siraj’s seven-year-long association with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). As if to prove the point, he channeled his emotions towards social media to say goodbye to RCB, thanking and praising the team.
Siraj’s exit from RCB is one of the significant events in the IPL, and his induction to GT is majorly going to heighten the team’s successful bowling attack. RCB would have exercised the RTM for the bowler but they did not. In response to Siraj’s message, Rashid Khan, GT’s star Afghan spinner, added heart emojis and wrote that the fast bowler belonged to Gujarat now.
He commented, “Ab tu hamara huaaaaa (Now you are ours).”
