The Sudurpaschim Royals erected a mountain of a total, leaving the target as far as 183 runs, on the other side of which the Biratnagar Kings are playing the ongoing Nepal Premier League match at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, on Tuesday. The Royals had begun with losing some early wickets at the inning start but managed to make a respectable recovery due to the great batting show by their captain, Dipendra Singh Airee.
Airee played a strong knock of 57, not out off just 24 balls, including three fours and five sixes. This riveting effort took the Royals to speed up their scoring and really post a competitive total.
Airee’s knock was a real treat to watch, as he ripped the Kings’ bowlers all around the park. An unbeaten 57 turned out to be the turning point for the Royals, and they hope their bowlers can defend that total and win.
