Indian cricketer Sanju Samson was seen honing his skills during a training session at the Sharjah Cricket Academy in the UAE. While spending time in the UAE with his wife, Charulatha Remesh, the Kerala-born star made sure to prioritize his preparations.

As the T20I series against England approaches, the 30-year-old dedicated himself to rigorous practice to gear up for the challenge ahead. You can watch the video here:

Sanju Samson last played during the 2024 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Kerala, where he amassed 136 runs across five innings, including a notable half-century. Meanwhile, the Indian men’s team is gearing up for a five-match T20I series against England, set to kick off on January 22 in Kolkata.

The second match will be held on January 25 in Chennai, followed by the third T20I in Rajkot on January 28. The series will conclude with the final two games in Pune and Mumbai on January 31 and February 2, respectively.

Sanju Samson emerged as India’s highest run-scorer in T20Is in 2024

Sanju Samson was a member of the Indian squad that clinched the 2024 T20 World Cup, though he didn’t feature in any matches during the tournament. Nevertheless, he ended the year as India’s top run-scorer in T20Is.

The 30-year-old amassed 436 runs in 12 innings at an impressive average of 43.60, which included one half-century, three centuries, and five ducks. Remarkably, he became the first player to hit three T20I centuries in a single calendar year.

Overall, Sanju has accumulated 810 runs in 37 T20Is, featuring two fifties and three hundreds.
