On Saturday, January 25, veteran Indian cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara‘s wife, Puja Pabari, took to social media to share a touching message in honor of his 37th birthday. The couple, who married in Rajkot on February 13, 2013, welcomed their daughter, Aditi, on February 22, 2018.

To celebrate Pujara’s 37th birthday, Puja shared a photo on Instagram along with the caption:

The right-handed batter was recently seen in action during Saurashtra’s 2024-25 Ranji Trophy match against Delhi. Delhi, batting first, was dismissed for 188, with captain Ayush Badoni contributing a top score of 60. Veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja shone with the ball, taking five wickets for 66 runs.

In reply, Saurashtra posted 271, with Harvik Desai scoring a crucial 93, while Cheteshwar Pujara was out for just six off 21 balls. Jadeja continued his stellar performance with the ball, taking seven wickets in Delhi’s second innings as they were bowled out for 94. With only 12 runs needed to win, Saurashtra secured a 10-wicket victory.

Saurashtra are currently ranked third in Group D, earning 15 points from six matches. On the other hand, Pujara’s performance in the tournament has been varied. He has scored a total of 275 runs in seven innings, with 234 of those runs coming from a single innings against Chhattisgarh.

Although he has been absent from the national team for over a year, Cheteshwar Pujara continues to put in the hard work in domestic cricket, striving for a comeback. The veteran cricketer made his Test debut for India in 2010 and quickly became a reliable figure, securing his place at No. 3 in the lineup.

At 37, Pujara has played 103 Tests, accumulating 7,195 runs in 176 innings at an average of 43.60. His remarkable record includes 35 half-centuries and 19 centuries, with his highest score being an unbeaten 206.
